ALL ITEMS CONSIGNED MUST BE CLEAN AND IN GOOD REPAIR OR THEY WILL NOT BE DISPLAYED…..ITEMS THAT ARE DIRTY,STAINED, WORN, TORN, OR INCOMPLETE WILL BE DISCARDED.

 Items that are out-dated or out-of-season become the property of Bear Market to store, discard, donate to charity, or sell for costume use.   Clothing should be folded neatly with sets together, or on hangers.  Wadded-up, wrinkled clothing is priced lower or discarded. Remember that nice things together all look nice – nice things mixed in with dirty, uncared for items will look dirty and uncared for too.  Furniture and all hardware should be clean. NO HOLES OR WORN DIRTY CUSHIONS. NO  STINK, MOLD, SPIDER WEBS, ETC.

YOU ARE ALLOWED:BI-WEEKLY ONE CONTAINER(weighing less than 25 lbs):  1-Box or 1-Bag (box of  14x18x20 or bag of  13 gal. or smaller)  OR 15 hanging items (Mon-Sat.week)* notice:  NOT ON THURSDAYS.*     AND  up to 6 large carry-in items ANY DAY WEEKLY .    Phone us before bringing in large furniture items – we must make space for your items .  Please, be prepared for times when we can not accept items at all.   We have a 24/7 phone message and a web site to help prevent unnecessary trips.   ONLY THE PERSON WHO OWNS THE ACCOUNT CAN CHECK-IN MERCHANDISE ON THAT ACCOUNT,
WE DO REQUIRE I.D. BE PRESENTED.

SERVICE CHARGES: Bear Market is not a convenient place to dispose of appliances that do not work – or excessive amounts of any type of unusable clothing, or hardware.  A service charge can be charged to persons abusing our business – up to $80.00  can and will be invoiced to you for removal of appliances or excessive dumpster space.   These charges are collected through your account balance or collecting through mail or collector.

PRICING: We price your items to sell them – we want to move merchandise quickly.  Brand name, popularity and demand are considered at the time of pricing.  Please do not expect us to know the value of each item.  If you bring us an expensive or treasured item you must discuss the pricing of this item with us before leaving the item.               ****PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING NOTICE *****

 NOTICE.… SELLING PRICE IS DIFFERENT THAN WHAT YOU COLLECT.  BE SURE THAT YOU AND THE STORE CLERK AGREE UPON YOUR *selling price* versus how much is  YOUR PERCENTAGE.   Notifying us after the item has sold to say you wanted more will NOT BE OUR COST.     Sales are final.

DISPLAY TIME: All items priced under $20. are displayed for 6 to 8 weeks, then automatically go ½ price and then clearance at 80% off.  Clearance items are displayed from 6 days to 20 days total.  Nice remaining unsold items are donated to charities or discarded. 

                              * Items priced $20 up to $49.99 will be displayed for 6 to 8 weeks also.  Then will go on a reduction plan of lowering the price every two weeks.  If you do not want to lower the price you must come and get the item from our premises or we have the right to lower the price.

                              * Items priced $50 and up will be displayed for 3 weeks with No Layaway allowed and an additional 2 weeks with Layaway allowed.  After this 5-week display the price will be lowered to a pre-approved price for an additional 3 weeks.  Remaining unsold  items will be on a clearance plan lowering the price every two weeks.    We reserve the right to reduce prices if we cannot contact you easily. 

IT IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY TO CHECK ON YOUR ITEMS BEFORE THE PRICE IS LOWERED OR THE ITEM IS DONATED.  ANY ITEM CAN  BE DONATED TO CHARITY AFTER  PRICE REDUCTIONS HAVE FAILED TO SELL THEM.   IT IS NOT OUR RESPONSIBILITY TO CONTACT YOU.  

COLLECTING MONEY:  Photo ID is required for collecting funds, ONLY people whose names appear on an

Account can collect any funds from that account.  You may collect money from your account at any time.  Be aware

 there is a waiting time of one full week from the date an items has sold until you can collect your money.  Leaving your account inactive for 18months or over could result in funds removed by automatic data cleaning.  

PLEASE NOTE:  It has been our experience that some items do not sell (even in excellent condition).  Some we will not accept at all and others we price low.  We can not make shoppers purchase your items, we only display them for you.  We are not held responsible for shop lifting or customer damage, but be assured we do our best to protect your items.  If a shop lifter is caught we will prosecute to the fullest extent of the law.

I AGREE TO THIS CONTRACT,
